Humanitet is a global disaster relief organisation dedicated to providing immediate and long-term support to communities affected by natural and man-made disasters. Our mission is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity. We are currently on the ground in Beirut, Lebanon, providing marginalised communities that had to flee the south with basic necessities, such as hygiene kits, blankets and bedding, as well as water and food. Focusing on the families of migrant workers, specifically Bangladeshi families, that currently find shelter in abandoned houses and shops, we act swiftly to improve the harsh living conditions of these families. In January 2023, at the peak of winter and in freezing temperatures, we hand-delivered generators to underground bunkers sheltering the elderly and disabled left in Kherson, Ukraine. As the world bears witness to the harrowing violence inflicted upon innocent civilians, we are facing a catastrophic humanitarian crisis of immense proportions. Countless Palestinian civilians in Gaza are currently in dire need of medical care, shelter, and food, which are extremely finite resources for them. On 8 September 2023, a devastating earthquake struck Morocco, leaving more than lives lost and thousands displaced. The Turkey-Syria Earthquake saw the loss of over lives and left more than 1.5 million people homeless in Turkey alone. In times of crisis, your support is more crucial than ever.
