Humanity Hospital is a charitable hospital offering complete free treatment including free ICCU facility for needy and underprivileged people. Background: Subhasini Mistry, a resident of Hanspukur, 24 Parganas(South), West Bengal lost her husband due to medical negligence in the year 1971. Left alone and without any proper source of income to support the children, she had to work as a housemaid, a manual labourer and a vegetable seller for 20 years and managed to save Rs. with the help of community workers and neighbours, she was able to make a doctor of her son, Ajoy.She dared to dream beyond her means to build a hospital for the underprivileged. She bought a plot of land at Hasnapukur in the interiors of Thakurpukur where the most of the people is of poor category. Her dreams come into reality after opening a small clinic in a small hut and thus the hospital saw the day of light. As she was dreaming for the sake of humanity, it was christened as Humanity Hospital, managed by Humanity Trust, registered under Indian Trust Act in the year 1993, I.T. Act in the year 1994 and F.C.R. Act in the year 1995. Our Vision: 1. To provide free treatment to the needy patients. Offer medical service with heart and compassion and with the true spirit of service to humanity. Expand our presence to remote places to meet the crying need of adequate medical service. And never let anyone die just because he/she could not afford the cost of the treatment.
