Hunehar

Hunehar is a student run organization, with the goal set to educate young souls of Pakistan and stop child labor. As we all know there are a lot of factors contributing to illiteracy and child labor in our country so let’s be a factor that diminishes illiteracy and discourages child labor. Change a life by helping underprivileged children for a chance at a better future. As a non profit we believe in doubling the happiness rather than investments. Starting form small events to running a school, Hunehar has grown as an organisation everyday. The joyous Eid Milan party in 2016 was musical, fun and a great opportunity for the children to meet professionals from different fields. Graced by the very well known, master Ayyub, the Books or Bricks event in Centaurus was a major success. Games, quizzes and other exciting activities kept children busy and happy. The message of Hunehar was spread to the general public in a very light and effective way. Iftaar dinner by Serena hotel was a very memorable event for our Hunehars. Eidi was also distributed among them by the general manager and this added to the happiness of the children. Sponsored by Ranchers restaurant, another iftaar dinner was organised for the children. Ration packages and eidi distributed among the children and their families spread smiles all around. Ramadan ration and Eid gifts drive was a major success in terms of lives touched and families affected. A very fruitful meeting of the team Hunehar and team Parwarish, an orphanage in swat, took place. Students from Parwarish show cased and expressed their talents. Last but not the least, the very dedicated members and the tireless efforts of the team made setting up of Hunehar School possible. Today, a large number of local children are getting enlightened through education in the school. Regular fun activities lighten up the routine. Sponsors and regular donations are what are keeping this big project running at the start of 2017, Hunehar achieved a major milestone, acquiring a building which now serves as the school for our beloved Hunehar students. The journey to acquiring real estate in todays world is not an easy task and it certainly wasn’t easy for the Hunehar team but with the generous donations of our sponsors and donors and ultimately by the unparalled blessing of the Almighty, we managed to do so. After renovation the school was inaugurated on the 14th of August, thereby further strengthening our belief in the notion that dreams do indeed come true. The school is in Merabadi, Islamabad and continues to improve with time whilst hosting young brilliant minds in its embrace providing them a nourishing environment for their education as well as their mental development. We believe as a country and as a nation we need to look after each other, take care of each other and not turn a blind eye. There is no form of a greater happiness than putting a smile on a person’s face. A start is a start no matter how small. We started small and we dream to go big.
