Hush To Roar

Toyin Okunuga is the author of Hush to Roar. She is an Inspirational Speaker and coach to women from the age of 18 upwards that have undergone childhood trauma, particularly sexual abuse within the family. Through her holistic approach, her clients become unstuck from the past and start to live a joyous and fulfilling life they deserve to have. Toyin's inspiration behind Hush to Roar comes from breaking through the silence. From as young as eight years old, she got tamed to 'hush'. Not being able to feel and voice her feelings, manifested in anger, bitterness, hate and un-forgiveness. Her healing resulted in owning her voice and forgiving the unforgivable. She now proudly roars about everything that has happened to her because none of them defines who I am. None of our experiences defines us.
