HutanBio is developing the world’s first cost-parity, net-negative sustainable fuel for aviation, shipping, and heavy transport. These sectors underpin $40 trillion in global trade and represent a ~$960 billion fuel market by 2035. Yet no sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), maritime fuel, or heavy-duty transport fuel has proven to be cheap, scalable and sustainable at global scale. Until now. Just 7% of suitable coastal desert land could supply all global aviation and maritime fuel demand.
