Our firm is licensed in numerous states and has performed engineering and construction services for clients in over 20 states and 3 countries. OUR STORY: The engineering firm of Huval & Associates, Inc. was established in 1989 in Lafayette, Louisiana by David S. Huval, Sr. and his sons David S. Huval, Jr. and Mark Huval. The firm originally employed four people and primarily offered engineering design and construction services in the local area and to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. David S. Huval, Sr. began his engineering career with the Federal Highway Administration (FWHA) and then worked for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). After a successful stint with the LADOTD, which included a position as the department’s Bridge Design Engineer, David S. Huval, Sr. returned to Lafayette, Louisiana and founded Huval & Associates, Inc. with sons David Huval, Jr. and Mark Huval. In the years since our founding, Huval & Associates, Inc. has continued to grow and now employs over fifty people. Huval & Associates has satellite offices in Baton Rouge & Metairie Louisiana in addition to the main office in Lafayette, Louisiana. We perform engineering services for a wide spectrum of public and private entities and continue to cultivate harmonious relationships with our clients.
