HVLV started as a DIY cocktail bar and over the years has grown into a prominent multi-genre nightlife venue and a powerful community acceleration point on the map of Kyiv. The venue is situated in Podil – a local underground culture district in Kyiv and holds a variety of artistic events: from parties with electronic music of a wide range of genres, live jazz jams, and concerts to monthly flea markets and ambient listening evenings. Over 8 years, HVLV has become an essential location for local artists and various underground communities. Furthermore, it not only hosted numerous international and local musicians but became a beacon for nightlife activism in the neighborhood.
