Hybrid + Dream With the stress that urbanization and an aging population puts on a city, urban areas must rethink their organizational structures and infrastructures as they face new challenges. These challenges include how to responsibly use key resources, such as energy, water, food, and other raw materials. By combining engineering and data expertise, we enable our customers to make informed decisions when answering the challenges that urban infrastructures face today. In our smart cities lab, urban infrastructure is seen as wide-scale cyber-physical systems, with sensors monitoring cyber and physical indicators and with actuators dynamically changing the complex urban environment in some way. Hybream will link between the computational and physical elements of this system and will dramatically increase the adaptability, autonomy, efficiency, functionality, reliability, safety, and usability of infrastructure systems.
