We are a specialty biopharma company focused on innovating, reinventing, and optimising existing medications to address important healthcare needs and deliver relevant improvements for patients, healthcare professionals and payors. We have built a broad proprietary pipeline of complex value-added reformulated and repurposed products that have the potential to offer significant advantages over currently available medications. Today, we have two, partnered commercial-stage products, Sotalol IV for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, and Maxigesic® IV, a novel, dual mode-of-action non-opioid analgesic for the treatment of post-operative pain. Our development strategy of reformulating and repurposing approved pharmaceuticals primarily utilises the 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway in the U.S. and similar pathways in other countries, which are specifically designed for pharmaceutical agents for which the safety and efficacy have already been established. This focused strategy can dramatically reduce the clinical burden required to bring a product to market, and significantly shortens the development timelines while also reducing costs and risks.
