Hypion Gmbh

Hypion GmbH was established in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, under the motto “Pioneer for Integrated Hydrogen Economies.” The Regional Development Agency Heide, IPP Projects, HanseWerk, and EDF Deutschland wanted to facilitate with Hypion the market activation in the field of green hydrogen. The task was and is to use an integrated approach to realize sector coupling and holistic projects as blueprints for the sustainable ramp-up of the H2 market. Local specifics and requirements of market actors are linked in such a way that economically viable systems are already emerging today. All these is based on sustainable hydrogen as a material energy storage medium, energy carrier, or raw material in the industrial sector. As a project developer and facilitator, Hypion identifies, develops, plans, implements, and operates projects from Schleswig-Holstein for northern Germany and Europe.
