I Am Movement

Our mission is to use fitness and friendship to create a community, to help enhance people's lives so they can be their own heroes. Two of our anchor programs are Rock Steady Boxing for people with Parkinson’s disease and DanceAbility for people of all abilities and mobilities. A mother/daughter business, we were scheduled to open the week the lockdown hit in March 2020. My daughter Timorei and I believe in our mission and are committed to our cause, so we pivoted our business model to open and survive. The only program we have been able to offer during the pandemic is boxing. Sounds weird, right? But the non-combative program is designed to target and challenge the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonism, slowing their progression so people can live fuller lives longer. Our fighters love it!
