I Am Perspective (IAP): Fostering Empathy, Bridging Divides Co-founded by lifelong friends Jo’rell Whitfield and Nusrat “Nussy” Alam, I Am Perspective (IAP) is dedicated to building a more empathetic and inclusive world. Rooted in the rich diversity of Queens, NY, IAP is a trusted platform where diverse voices and stories come together to foster understanding, connection, and meaningful dialogue. Since 2017, we’ve hosted over 300 impactful events across schools, workplaces, and communities, collaborating with esteemed organizations like Old Pal, lululemon, and Recoup-NY. Through our workshops, curated conversations, and training programs, we tackle critical topics including identity, race, gender, culture, and socioeconomic experiences, empowering individuals to see beyond stereotypes and challenge divisive narratives. At IAP, we don’t just facilitate conversations—we drive change.
