I am Yen and I am more than just a marketer. I am the daughter of first-generation Vietnamese immigrants in Germany, a background that has shaped my identity and values. I am passionate about social media, not only as a tool for communication and promotion, but also as a reflection and driver of social and cultural changes. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new markets, and collaborate with a diverse set of talented people. I believe that influencer marketing is not only a powerful way to connect brands and consumers, but also a meaningful way to create positive impact and inspire change. As an Influencer Marketing Consultant & Project Manager, I help global brands and agencies achieve their marketing goals through effective and creative social media and influencer campaigns. With over eight years of experience in the marketing industry and a Master's degree in Marketing Management, I have developed a deep understanding of the social media landscape, the psychology of consumers, and the best practices of influencer marketing. I started my career in event management, working with nightclubs and event organizers in Germany and the UK, where I learned the importance of creating memorable experiences and engaging audiences. In 2019, I decided to pursue my passion for influencer marketing and became a freelancer, offering my services to multiple clients across various sectors, such as PUMA, GetYourGuide, Beiersdorf, and Zalando. I also worked as an Influencer Manager / Project Manager at agencies including Goat Agency, Smarts Agency, Buddy Media, Jungle Creations, and many more, where I manage campaigns from start to finish, including outreach, negotiation, contracting, content approval, and reporting & analysis of insights to give recommendations based on data.
