Ibersuizas has raised two private equity funds to date Ibersuizas Capital Fund II, with total committed capital of €331 million, closed in July 2006. It is currently in investment phase, mainly focused on buyouts Ibersuizas Capital Fund I, with total committed capital of €141 million, closed in December 2005. It has been fully invested in development capital transactions and buyouts The funds advised by Ibersuizas invest in companies meeting the following criteria: Enterprise value between €50 and €500 million Equity investment between €10 and €100 million Any industry sector excluding financial services, real estate and IT Leading companies with sustainable competitive advantages and clear growth potential Top level in-house or external management team Leverage capacity We work actively with our investee companies and create real value for our investors Establishing the strategy: Introduction of an external perspective, definition of medium and long term targets Accelerating growth: Internationalisation, acquisitions, investment in new business lines Increasing the operational efficiency: Rationalisation of operations, costs reduction Optimising the use of capital: Improvements in working capital, divestment of non-core assets Improving the capital structure: Use of financial leverage, culture of financial discipline Incentivising the management team to maximise value: Management equity investment, strengthening of management teams
