Ic Philanthropy

The IC Philanthropy Foundation is the charitable arm of the Council of International Lawn Tennis Clubs (ICs). Its main purpose is to teach tennis to disadvantaged children and disabled young people. We provide grants to ICs around the world for facilities, equipment and coaching as part of programmes to help disadvantaged children and young people with learning difficulties, in sections of society where there are few opportunities and little funding for sport. Some of these programmes provide education classes and meals, and work with local communities and families. Each programme has a different emphasis, depending on resources and the needs of the children. Our goal is to teach new life skills through tennis and to give children the belief system that anything is possible even in difficult circumstances. Currently we support 15 programmes world-wide and have reached over children… so far. We are funded through the generosity of individuals, private foundations and fundraising activities and rely on the hard work of our volunteers across the five continents in which we operate.
