Who we are Iceland Review is the nation’s oldest English-language publication, focusing on current events, travel, and culture. In print since 1963, our publication has been instrumental in presenting Iceland to a foreign readership. Once the in-flight magazine (Atlantica) for Icelandair, we now print one of the highest-quality fine arts magazines in Iceland, in any language. Through the years, contributors, writers, and editors have included former presidents of the Republic, respected scholars, and popular artists. Additionally, Iceland Review has played a key role in the growth of the Icelandic tourism industry. As an independent publication with a highly trusted brand, we stand apart from the average travel website and also serve as an important point of contact for foreign governments, ambassadors, and companies.
