Ices Education

Established in 1981, ICES Education is one of California’s longest-established providers of After School and Out-of-School learning programs. Services include quality academically oriented before and after school programs, homework assistance, enrichment, one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, weekend and vacation learning instruction, childcare, early literacy and language instruction, educational and sports travel programs and much more. Each day, our carefully chosen staff of 300 along with hundreds of volunteers serves around at-risk and low-income students at more than 30 sites across Southern California. A stable, high quality staff, innovative teaching methods and alignment with school standards are the main reasons why ICES consistently leads other providers in terms of helping schools, students and families close the achievement gap. Varied peer-comparative studies confirm that ICES participants show a marked improvement in self-confidence, social adjustment and particularly academic improvement.
