ICESTAT is a cluster of experienced professionals with different skillsets and backgrounds established by Snorri H. Gudmundsson, MBA, just prior to the financial crisis. We are heavily centered on the consumer markets and how present events may affect them going forward. AI may solve many challenges societies face but also increase global systematic risk if it sets off an unemployment surge. We do not subscribe to any doomsday scenario caused by weaponized AIs or even AI replacing 90% of all jobs and rendering universities obsolete.
