iCorp Strategies is a company that focuses on providing life insurance based strategies for affluent clients ($3 million+ net worth or $250k income+). iCorp Strategies partners with trusted financial advisors, providing a turn key sales process and methodology along with point-of-sale assistance to increase closed life insurance production. We have developed a unique approach to the way life insurance is positioned and sold and believe it will revolutionize how the life insurance industry positions life insurance to the affluent client. The iCorp process leads advisors and their clients through a simple, compelling, and nonthreatening story that re-frames the way client’s and advisors perceive the economics of status quo financial decisions versus life insurance based strategies. Our approach is asset based versus the traditional expense based positioning traditionally employed by the life insurance industry. This approach focuses on the fact that when clients survive through or past life expectancy, from an economic perspective a properly designed life insurance strategy effectively becomes a self funded capital allocation. Viewed this way, the economics of a life insurance strategy can then be evaluated consistent with how clients evaluate other capital allocations, factoring in traditional metrics including risk, internal rates of return, and taxation.
