We’re an institute of Masaryk University (MUNI) that helps university employees and students to succeed in the digital world. We take care of the development and management of information and communication technology. We perform applied research to stay at the forefront of information technology development. Our optical networks and locally managed global Wi-Fi network EDUROAM serve as the lifeblood of Masaryk University, enabling the flow of information, data exchange and effective communication. Our Wi-Fi is the empowering force enabling the exchange of knowledge and collaboration across all MUNI campuses, nurturing innovation and catalysing creativity. Our Economic-Administrative Information System contributes to smoother financial operations and better control over administrative processes across the university. We help to channel important information through the websites we provide. Our MUNI Employee Portal serves as a virtual office and entry gate to all important information, tools and systems. We are dedicated to finding solutions for complex data-related challenges of the MUNI scientific community. We streamline data collection, access, processing, analysis, storage, and data sharing during experiments and projects. We are focused on FAIR data handling and implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) in the Czech Republic. Our world-class team of cybersecurity experts ensures the safety of the large amount of important and sensitive data produced by the university. Our cybersecurity team performs research in collaboration with national and foreign experts and regularly scores in international cybersecurity training competitions. We are proud holders of the HR Award. At work, we embrace open communication and encourage personal and professional growth. We regularly share our knowledge and expertise with MUNI employees and students in our courses and workshops to help them exploit the full potential of our products and services.
