Why? ID Arkitektur believes in architecture that is engaging, meaningful and enduring. That is to say, designed for multi-sensorial experience, with a strong connection to it's physical and social context, and based on far-sighted values. How? Our process differentiates itself by placing particular, structured, focus on the early stages of the project where the “soul” – the architectural identity - is defined, as well as the cost-driving structural, energetic and material principles. Design for multi-sensorial experience is about creating a deeper emotional connection between building and people, so as to create in each project extraordinary architecture and places. We seek to maximise value creation, financially and emotionally, irrespective of a generous or limited budget, through innovatiove and specific design thinking. A solid experience of the process from concept to completion helps us to keep to time and budget throughout the project. Open, regular dialog with our clients throughout the process builds constructive cooperation and minimises the risk of misunderstanding, which can erode time, money and trust. Our background in industrial design, branding and architecture, in Sweden and internationally, has contributed to a creative and flexible work ethos, ability to communicate, and understanding of cost-driving and value-creating factors. Together with our network of carefully chosen partners within the fields of architecture, design and construction, we can create project-specific workgroups for various typologies and scales, from concept to completion. We have particular experience of residential and workplace architecure, but are also interested in educational and cultural typologies.
