Idaltu Counseling & Consulting

Idaltu Counseling & Consulting, LLC is a Baltimore-based consulting firm that specializes in fusing the healing practices of mental health counseling with social justice advocacy and antiracism education to identify and dismantle institutionalized practices of oppression. Since 2016, Idaltu has provided guidance to schools, non-profits, corporations, and religious organizations on how to resolve inequitable policies, practices, and processes. We collaboratively design strategies that promote environments that are racially just, safe, and inclusive for all stakeholders. We accomplish this by performing cultural audits, reviewing all the ways in which oppression operates (intra, inter, institutional, and systemic), reframing and advancing equity dialogue, and transforming organizational systems.
