Ideaborn Group

Ideaborn is a consulting company founded in Barcelona, Spain in It supports governments and civil society organizations in promoting human rights access and implementing programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030. Their services include technical assistance for governance, justice, and security sector reforms to foster peace in fragile states. They also advise businesses on community development and help draft legislation to translate rights into actionable policies for women, children, and minorities. Ideaborn has executed 75 projects funded by bilateral and multilateral donors and collaborated with various international organizations and government ministries. Ideaborn supports documentation and replication of best practices, particularly in preventing youth violence and ensuring access to justice for minors. They promote partnerships between public and private sectors, civil society, and academia to cultivate citizenship and governance values. In 2017, Ideaborn facilitated the establishment of the Fund of the Americas for Youth Violence Prevention and Restorative Justice, headquartered in Washington DC and Medellín, Colombia. This fund aims to support at-risk youth, including those in conflict with the law, by documenting and disseminating best practices. They also initiated the Global Citizenship Education Fund in 2017, focusing on coordinating public entities, companies, universities, and civil society organizations to train public servants and service providers. This foundation, based in Barcelona, supports the integration of human rights conventions into daily work practices, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
