Ideafield Coworking

IdeaField was an experiment in having access to a full-time coworking space. The idea spun out of the Weekly Tech Rant which was a coffee MeetUp to discuss building startup products and companies. IdeaField was the first formal Coworking space to open in the Tampa Bay area. Its goal was to support freelancers, technical artisans, and start-up founders by providing them a friendly place to work, chat, collaborate and think. Our mission was to help foster growth of Tampa Bay's emerging, but well hidden, grassroots tech community and to make central Florida a more startup-friendly area. IdeaField operated out of offices in Tampa Heights and then Ybor City from 2008 - 2010. When space was no longer available several other coworking spots absorbed the demand for tech-dense workspace.
