The key to any great leader is how they know and accept their own natural abilities. There is something you were born to be great at. There is something that only you can offer the people around you and that is where you can become a leader. Leadership, like success, is a very personal thing. It differs from person to person. Everyone has their own concept of success. In the same way, everyone will have a unique way of expressing leadership. The problem is created when I try and aspire to somebody else’s idea of success, and subsequently leadership, regardless of what the reasons are. You can only offer that what you own. That comes down to your own unique abilities, strengths and preferences. So, step no. 1 is to discover what makes you unique. What strengths and abilities do you possess and what are your deep motives for doing what you do. Step no. 2 is inding a place where who you are will be valuable.
