Idera Women Foundation was founded with the aim of empowering Women and children in vulnerable communities through Education, Entrepreneurship and Local leadership to help them rise above poverty. Women and children constitute a large percentage of the poor in many African societies. Thus, the empowerment of women to become financially independent and educating the next generation is crucial for eradicating poverty at large.
