Informal retailers in the most fragmented parts of Africa have tough procurement needs, which is why they use Idunu to streamline their purchasing and payments. Idunu is a source-to-pay platform for fresh produce procurement. It features a range of procurement tools built into one unified system, eliminating the need for separate end-to-end traditional processes from the farm to shelf. We are on a mission to build a reliable and cost-effective supply chain to deliver quality produce directly from the farm to store, on a daily basis. We work very closely with Africa’s farming communities to ensure that farmers on the other hand receive a fair price for their output, which is higher than the traditional income generated through the middlemen route. We deploy technology and data science for sourcing, pricing intelligence, payment and collections in more than 150 communities in Nigeria.
