The first thing you’ll need to start capturing and converting the sun’s energy is a solar panel! From the inverter, AC energy can be used to power your TV or charge your electric car. When your solar energy system is set up and running, the AC current first go to your fuse box, where it’s distributed throughout the house, and then to a battery or back to the electrical grid for your neighbors to use.
