Ieee Bangalore Section

Bangalore was established in 1977 and is one of the most vibrant Sections in India. Over the years, the strength of the section has grown steadily, and currently, the Section membership stands close to 20K members. This membership is spread across various sectors and is a nice blend of Industry, Academia, and Research organizations. Bangalore Section has 29 Society Chapters and two affinity groups. The chapters carry out focused activities in the respective areas by conducting technical talks under DLT, seminars, tutorials, workshops, etc. Apart from the Chapters, two affinity groups, viz. the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) and Women In Engineering (WIE), also carry out related activities. Bangalore and Princeton and Central New Jersey Sections had signed a MoU as sister sections.
