Ieee Usf - Vex Robotics

VEX Robotics at the University of South Florida (USF) is a student-led engineering organization that designs, builds, and competes with advanced robots in the global VEXU competition series. Each year, our teams engineer two robots under strict size and game constraints, applying skills in CAD design, C++ programming, and mechanical/electrical building to deliver innovative, competition-ready systems. Since our founding in 2020, we have proudly represented USF at national and international competitions, including the VEX Robotics World Championship, while also hosting major regional events such as the North/Central Florida High School States Championship (2023). Beyond competing, our team engages the community through outreach, including robot soccer demonstrations at the annual USF Engineering Expo. By combining technical expertise with teamwork, VEX Robotics at USF provides a platform for students to gain hands-on experience, strengthen leadership, and prepare for careers in engineering and technology. Our mission is not only to build competitive robots but also to inspire the next generation of innovators through education, mentorship, and community involvement.
