iesha is a social venture that builds and delivers digital content on sexual, reproductive, and gender education to schools in India. iesha is pioneering the delivery of critical, accurate, and empowering sexual, reproductive, and gender education through in-school workshops and digital content, laying the foundation for a gender-equal India. As old taboos break and mass consciousness erupts on sexual violence, schools and parents are feeling an overwhelming need to educate the youth as the first step to creating a healthier society – but few feel comfortable or knowledgeable enough to take it up. Iesha fills this gap: the innovation lies in our ability to pioneer sexual and reproductive education in a nation where it is almost non-existent. Iesha’s content – the first of its kind in India – provides critical information, breaks pernicious stigmas, and powers behavior change right at the age where damaging mindsets start to manifest. We are building for scale, leveraging technology and school/teacher networks to reach millions.
