The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE),Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering is prominent clubs formed for the students of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE)but now it is for all the students of college irrespective of the department and year. Ever since its inception, IETE has gone from strength to strength providing excellent learning opportunities for students in Electronics and Communication and Electrical Engineering. The club conducts various workshops necessary for building a strong foundation in the core subjects and also provides ample practical experience by means of industrial visits and projects under the mentorship of its senior members. This chapter since then has grown and contributed in skill enhancement and knowledge upgradation of various students via industrial and academic projects, seminars and workshops. We also try to drive innovation among students via technical fests where new ideas all always welcomed. Various journals and magazines are also published by us for the students so that they can be updated regarding latest trends in technology and science. This chapter also conducts and sponsors technical meetings, conferences, symposia, and exhibitions all over India, publishes technical journals and provides continuing education as well as career advancement opportunities to its members.
