IFR by Portwest, was founded over 19 years ago and now has over 250 distributors across Canada and the US. At IFR, we offer our customers comprehensive flame resistant options for safety and comfort, through our full line of protective workwear. We also now deliver a wide range of Hi-Vis Non-FR garments and protective handwear options. We cater to industries including oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, electrical, construction, railroad and others! The majority of our products are manufactured in North America and sold through distribution partners across Canada and parts of the USA. Based in Red Deer, our state of the art square foot distribution centre carries a large range of FR certified garments, ranging in sizes and colors - meaning we ship out orders quickly and efficiently. In order to provide consistent quality, we only use proven, tested fabrics and components made in North America. Our garments meet required safety standards and comply with industry standards. Reflective striping used on all the garments meets or even exceeds reflective visibility requirements of industry. This is what makes IFR products, the most trusted, reliable and comfortable safety workwear clothing. Our Warehouse is fully equipped with an in-house embroidery and sewing department. We can embellish our garments with your company logos, add name bars and make size adjustments in our facility making us a one stop shop for your protective workwear. In 2023, IFR Workwear was acquired by Portwest and our core commitment of developing pioneering products, investment in stock and rapid customer service remains unchanged.
