igen is a not-for-profit company that started in 1996. Initially established to provide professional and impartial careers information, advice and guidance services, our highly trained advisers have helped thousands of adults and young people to find employment and training across the North of England. Our services have been praised by clients and funding agencies alike. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service to all clients. Our services have extended from our initial focus and we now work with adults and young people across a wide range of contracts and locations. Our services to adults include Next Step and the Work Programme which help clients overcome barriers to employment and training. We work with clients to identify their goals and aspirations for the future and agree how we can help them to achieve these. We have also been at the forefront of providing redundancy advice to employees in many major companies in Yorkshire & Humber and the North East, helping people to prepare for the future and have the best possible opportunities for finding sustainable employment. As well as working with adults, igen is also experienced in working with young people though our Connexions contracts and delivery of Foundation Learning. igen is a member of Careers Yorkshire and the Humber, Careers England and the Institute of Careers Education.
