Founded in Reykjavík in 2008 by Icelandic designer Helga Olafsdottir, iglo+indi was a pioneering children’s fashion brand known for its bold prints, playful spirit, and commitment to comfort and quality. Inspired by creative exploration, the brand redefined everyday clothing for children — merging practicality with imagination. Under Helga’s leadership, iglo+indi became Iceland’s leading children’s fashion label, sold in over 120 stores worldwide. The collections were exhibited at major trade shows across Paris, Copenhagen, Florence, New York, Tokyo, and more, earning international praise for originality and innovation. The brand also garnered attention from global celebrities — including members of the Kardashian family, who chose iglo+indi for their children. Unfortunately, due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, iglo+indi ceased operations. Still, the brand remains a benchmark in Icelandic design entrepreneurship — a story of global growth driven by vision, creativity, and a deep understanding of how design can inspire young lives.
