Igrowers Information Hub

iGrowers InfoHub is a B2B social business whose objective is to enhance small-scale farmers’ access to agriculture information, extension and improved technologies. iGrowers InfoHub does this through on-site self-serve digital Hubs that offer farmers easy-to-understand crop related information and solutions, as well as contact details of local service providers. Early in 2019, the InfoHub project was awarded a small grant by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to design, build and launch the very first iGrowers InfoHub in Nakuru County in early September. Based on the very enthusiastic response received from farmers, and the community at large, iGrowers is convinced that the InfoHub tool will significantly complement extension services in Kenya. iGrowers aims to increase rural farmer access to agriculture information, inputs and services. Our target market includes county governments, NGOs, agribusinesses, aggregators, agro-dealers, and farmer cooperatives.
