Image Guided Robotic Systems group is a research lab originating from IIT Madras’ Healthcare Technology and Innovation Centre (HTIC) which is at the forefront of affordable and accessible healthcare solutions. In collaboration with engineers, medical professionals, healthcare practitioners, technologists, industry leaders, and government stakeholders, we strive to continuously push the boundaries of healthcare innovation to enhance patient outcomes worldwide. IGRS leverages a synergetic and innovative approach, combining state-of-the-art technology and collaborative research in areas such as computational robotics, computer vision, medical imaging, AR/VR technologies, mechatronics, and clinical and product design. While our focus includes image-guided navigation and robotic-assisted procedures, our passion drives us to explore new frontiers in healthcare technology, addressing diverse challenges and pushing the boundaries of innovation in the medical field.
