IHE Netherlands has created IHE Academy as its brand name for the provision of IHE related training courses in the Netherlands. IHE Academy is all about the provision of education related to interoperability standards as used by IHE. Learn IHE Academy aims to cover IHE standards both from a theoretical as well as from a practical implementation perspective. Participants in or training courses will learn about the most relevant IHE standards as well as their core characteristics. Share IHE Academy offers a platform for the exchange of IHE implementation experiences. The aim is to share best practices during training courses, workshops, and seminars Connect IHE Academy serves as a tool to connect the ICT vendor community with healthcare providers. The IHE standards serve as a kind of “common language”. A increase in the level of understanding will lead to a better cooperation between these groups and hence in better outcomes. Target Audience IHE Academy training courses are mainly aimed at Dutch IT vendors, consultants, health care employees responsible for the selection, contracting, implementation and maintenance of information systems. IHE Academy organizes various introductory training courses. Advanced training courses are available for those with pre-existing knowledge about IHE.
