iHope is a non-profit organization based in India engaged in promoting non-formal educational and developmental efforts in children and youth. iHope is an acronym for “Investing in Harnessing Opportunities and Potential trough Education”. We are inspired by a simple thought - that through structured guidance and career counseling any one can be helped to discover his or her potential and leverage opportunities in their chosen steams of learning to lead better lives. The name of our organization represents the true spirit of our existence, our real purpose and the range of our activities. iHope Foundation was setup with the aim to contribute towards empowering the children and youth through ways and means that provide sustainable improvements instead of temporary relief through random charity. iHope participates through skill development initiatives that empowers the youth and challenges them to develop skills, gain critical awareness, and open up a world of opportunities for them and create positive changes in their lives. Lack of proper guidance in life skills, un-clear goals in life and awareness of existence of opportunities is at the root of several problems afflicting Indian society. It is a serious impediment to development and improvement in quality of life. We at iHope, aim to enable and empower people to improve their lives and conditions.
