Ihsan Trust

Ihsan Trust is a not-for-profit organization, established in Jan 2010 as an Independent Trust as per the guidance of Meezan Bank’s Shariah Board for effective distribution of Meezan Bank’s Charity Fund under a Waqf structure. The main focus of Ihsan Trust is to support the Higher Education of the students in Pakistan on need-cum-merit basis. The trust is providing "Interest-Free Loan" facility to deserving students of more than 185 Universities and Professional bodies across Pakistan. Ihsan Trust is Presided by Dr. Muhammad Imran Ashraf Usmani, who is a senior Shariah Board Member of Meezan Bank. Since inception, Meezan Bank remains the biggest supporter of Ihsan Trust through its charity fund and has always facilitated its operations by extending support to the trust as a supporter. Ihsan Trust is duly certified by Pakistan Centre of Philanthropy (PCP) and has Tax Exemption certificate u/s 2(36) from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Pakistan. Ihsan Trust extends its financial assistance & support through the following modes: 1-Interest Free Loan facility on purely "Need Cum Merit" basis to the needy students for Higher Education in Pakistan. 2-Health Sector - Donation to hospital/health care units. 3-Relief & Rehabilitation in case of Disasters 4- Islamic Microfinance Ihsan Trust is govern by a well-reputed Board of Trustees, including following members - Dr. Muhammad Imran Usmani Founding Trustee & President (who is also senior Shariah Board member of Meezan Bank Limited.)- Mr. Kashif Faheem Usmani - General Secretary & Trustee - Mr. Suleman Muhammad Ali - Trustee - Zeeshan Ahmed - Trustee - Mr. Kamal Mehmood Amjad Mian - Trustee
