Ihssane For Congress

Ihssane Leckey is an immigrant, survivor, and Wall Street regulator. The daughter of a teacher and a farmer, Ihssane became the backbone of her family as a teenager after losing her father to a stroke. In the wake of the financial crisis, her commitment to justice drove her to fight the big banks as a Federal Reserve special examiner. Ihssane witnessed corrupt and complacent politicians unwilling to hold banks accountable, once again jeopardizing our homes, jobs, and communities. A compassionate social and racial justice activist, Ihssane is organizing to amplify the needs and voices of our communities from Brookline to Fall River. She is fighting for a Green New Deal, Medicare For All, and Universal Family Care. Ihssane lives in Brookline with her daughter Nora, partner Sean, and their dog Benji.
