IIBRe was established in Jamaica as a division of Gallagher Insurance Brokers to provide regional insurers, insurance brokers and large corporate clients with access to the global reinsurance market when, local capacity was insufficient, local treaties were restrictive, large clients wanted greater flexibility in their insurance programmes and cover was otherwise unavailable in the local market. Coverages for our exclusive facilities include Public Liability & Directors and Officers Liability. Claims Team: We understand that a claim is the true test of your insurance policy – and our clients stay with us because we help you get the claims settlements you deserve. We have a dedicated in-house claims team that provide a high level of support at every stage of the claim lifecycle. This active involvement during claims negotiations ensures that momentum is maintained and client satisfaction is achieved. Captive Solutions: The Captive Administration department makes valuable recommendations on using captives and alternative risk transfer solutions for the benefit of large Caribbean firms. We work with several large clients domiciled throughout the region.
