The Electrical Research Institute (IIE) was a public enterprise dedicated to innovation, technological development and applied scientific research, in order to develop technologies applicable to the electrical and oil industries, providing support to the Energy Sector in electrical generation, transmission and distribution processes and improvement oil processes.
