Ijm Uottawa

As a branch of International Justice Mission, our goals as a campus chapter are to raise awareness of modern day slavery at uOttawa, fundraise for the organization and prompt action by serving in our own community. We stand by the motto of IJM, that is Isaiah 1:17 of the Holy Bible that reads,"learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression, bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause." We hope to advocate for international justice for all, local and abroad, and we understand that true eradication of poverty is impossible without the eradication of violence, oppression and slavery. We meet weekly to discuss current events, do a Biblical based discussion together and plan for upcoming fundraising events. If you are interested in joining us, feel free to email us!
