Ikal Jazz

The band Ikal Jazz born in september of 2016 in the city of Caracas. This ensemble begin with the need of studying the genre of Jazz from its inception in the 20 ́s until today, passing through the swing era, bebop, cool, fusion and every subgenre in it. We also interpret brazilian music, Bossa Nova and Samba compositions. Now the band is going further with all these influences, and with differents rhythms, is making versions of pop tunes of all times, bringing to the audience a new, different and fresh way to hear this songs. Because of our band ́s format we have to arrenge all the tunes he played for a small combo. But don ́t worry, all tunes can be played without losing the essence, we make sure to have the same intensity, and add a new interisting thing in every one of them. Always looking new sounds, new songs, new music to hear and play, to enrich our musicality and give a great show for the audience.
