Problem There is an increased need to address the issue of deforestation in Kenya. One of the main contributor to deforestation is a lack of sustainable biomass availability that can arrest the rampant felling of trees for the daily energy needs of Rural, urban populations and for Industries that require fuelwood for process heat. Another environmental problem is the lack of a solution for dealing with all the various wastes generated during agricultural activities. In the year 2019, around 8 million tons of solid waste was estimated to be generated in Kenya. Most of this waste is land filled or burned in open fields. This waste can be used to help with meeting the biomass fuel demand. There is an urgent need to address these issues can this can be done with the conversion of normally discarded, burn and disposed Biomass Waste to usable fuel in the form of Briquettes and Pellets. 🥳Solution We are currently solving the three below stated problems of : 1. A need for sustainable fuel source for Industries to replace fossil fuel and Fuelwood. A need to avoid deforestation due to biomass requirement for industrial use. And, a need to convert normally discarded Woody Biomass Waste into high quality Biomass hence avoiding the burning and landfilling of these waste. This is done by converting woody biomass waste into biomass briquettes using the latest Briquetting Technologies available today.
