Il Querciolo

Il Querciolo" is a farm located in Valdichiana, near Marciano della Chiana, in #Tuscany. The farmhouse stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive groves, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers. Today is an entirely certified #organicfarm that produces legumes, cereals, Extra Vergin Olive oil and Syrah wines. These products can be tasted in our Agriturismo, where the cellar is located too. Today the company covers about 65 hectares of land of which about 4 hectares of vineyards of Syrah and 1 hectare of olive groves. Our mission is to respect and protect the countryside and our territory by implementing inclusive, sustainable, intelligent and circular organic agriculture that enhances the quality of our healthy and genuine “zero kilometer” products. All those who come to “il Querciolo” will be made part of the typical life of the Tuscan countryside, made up of long and satisfying moments. Tasting wines is one of those moments. We currently produce about bottles a year with 3 wines produced only with Syrah grapes. Without the addition of external chemical agents, we want our wines to be an expression of the climate and seasons of our land every time. We produce the “Gruccione” Syrah (about 2500 bottles a year) and the “Occhio di Civetta” Syrah (about bottles), both classified as IGT TOSCANA. Soon we will also have a rosé that we will produce in around 1,500 bottles a year. You can now understand why all people visiting "il Querciolo" from all over the world consider this place a paradise.
