As a venture firm (No.1004031: R&D Firm) in the field of air and water pollution prevention, IL WOO TECH Co, Ltd. has established its own research institute. IL WOO TECH succeeded in commercializing the Eco-Friendly Part Washing Device (KHP-37) based on "VOC Flow Circuit System" as a new technology for removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by using bio-ceramic filters. Accordingly, the KHP-37 can replace the prohibited open-type washers. The KHP-37 passed the SCAQMD's test to identify how much VOCs could be removed (more than 95%) and received a sales permit in September 2011, the first of its kind. As well, we obtained the patent on the Bio-Ceramic Filter for removing organic solvents originating VOCs and bad smells through metabolic process of microorganism (Patent No. IL WOO TECH possesses a lot of original technologies on part washers and air cleaners using bio-ceramic filters through PCT patent applications (as well as Korean and American patents). The major American part washer manufacturers, Safety Kleen Co.(with washers) and Heritage Crystal Clean Co.(with washers), expressed deep interest in the commercialization of our VOC removing technology (and our entry into the US market).
