Ilead International School

In its mission iLEAD is an international, secular non-sectarian school that offers high quality early childhood to primary education incorporating both an international and national curriculum for children aged two and above. We are committed to deliver English and Khmer lessons to empower our students to develop themselves, fulfill their potential and achieve success in Cambodia and abroad. Our team consists of both Khmer and international, experienced staff. All members of our working group are fully qualified and dedicated to work for educating Cambodia’s future leaders. All English teachers have great experience in education and have extended knowledge on teaching methodologies. Our Cambodian team plays an important role in implementing the curriculum and ensuring that all students learn and achieve understanding from English and Khmer perspectives. iLEAD International School’s Social Impact: In Cambodia only 20% of 3-5 year old Cambodian children have access to early childhood care and education (ECCE). ECCE is essential for children’s development into adults who are healthy, socially and environmentally responsible, intellectually competent and economically productive. The Cambodian government can only extend ECCE to 38% of children in 2018. iLEAD International is strengthening the capacities of community preschool teachers by functioning as a centre of teacher training and resources. iLEAD International School will ensure the quality of the education delivered by providing the teachers of the community preschools and eventually other educational practitioners in Cambodia with initial and continued training in modern, effective and high quality pedagogic methodology. Teachers from both the iLEAD and rural preschools will participate in school visits to facilitate two-way exchanges of experiences and to build a professional community of practices and solidarity.
