Illinois Public Media is the PBS and NPR station at the University of Illinois, educating, entertaining, inspiring and empowering by airing the best of public television and radio programs, producing regional content, and working with community partners to address local needs and concerns. WILL-AM 580 (NPR News) is home of the statewide talk show, The 21st, and the Illinois Newsroom. Illinois Newsroom provides news about Illinois & in-depth reporting on Agriculture, Education, the Environment, Health and Politics. Our team of journalists report on the issues that affect the diverse residents of Illinois with the goals of holding public officials accountable; fostering greater understanding of our state and region; and exploring the many ways people are working together to strengthen their communities. WILL-FM 90.9 (NPR Classical) offers programming to nourish the spirit and the mind, with classical music along with local news and NPR’s news magazines, “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered.” Also available on FM 90.9 HD1. WILL-TV blends the best of PBS programming with locally produced documentaries and programs such as Mid-American Gardener that focus on central Illinois. WILL World provides PBS documentaries, news, and public affairs programming. WILL Create offers programming on cooking, travel, gardening and home improvement, arts and crafts. WILL KIDS 24/7 broadcasting PBS KIDS shows 24 hours a day on channel 12.2
